Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Be part of the joint development of GaN based power technologies in collaboration with the technology development group including the lead of technology ramp-up after production release
  • Integrate new concepts and process moduls into next generation GaN technology platforms
  • Act as an interface between development, production, quality department and backend
  • As ramp up manager you will define and drive measures to improve stability, yield, reliability and production costs across a global process chain
  • Run root cause analysis and define sustainable corrective actions in case of process deviations
  • Sustain volume production by bringing in know-how about process and equipment capabilities
  • Be responsible for yield planning

Profile

With your high energy, enthusiasm, excellent communication skills and as a true team player you work perseveringly together with your colleagues on pushing ideas to their full implementation and application. With your structured working style, you are able to demonstrate high quality standards for yourself and other people.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Master's Degree or PhD in Semiconductor Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a similar technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor industry in manufacturing or R&D required.
  • Experience with III-nitride semiconductor processing, process integration and device/material testing and analysis
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge in advanced theory and application of semiconductor device and materials characterization techniques and measurements.
  • Experience with statistical data analysis skills and software. Ability to build and run DOE's desirable
  • Working knowledge DOE principles and statistical methods
  • Good German and English skills

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
