Automation Engineer (m/f) - Full time

Evologic Technologies aims to supply Any Biological at Any Scale, Anywhere by unlocking biologicals with manufacturing technology. Evologic is focusing on the Agi Input Market opportunity. Outside of Pharma, this is the sweet spot of product value and market protection. The growing Agri Input market is an opportunity to capture value with fermentation-based manufacturing Technology.

Tasks

• Maintain and expand inhouse automation capabilities (lab to industrial scale)
• Fully integrated equipment
• Stand-alone unit operations
• Design and realize new automation routines to support development and production
• Programmable logic controller (SPS) setup and integration
• Set up and configure PLCs according to their documentation
• Integrate sensors and actuators into PLCs
• Build electrical circuits for probes and actuators to integrate into our PLCs
• Troubleshoot industrial equipment during production, identify root causes and propose solutions.

Requirements

• General PLC or SPS knowhow
• Knowledge of Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, OPCUA if possible
• Practical examples of integrating analogue and digital data streams into a data lake
• Python or Micropython based programming
• Experience with database management software using PostgreSQL
• Practical knowledge of electrical/electronic engineering
• Very good knowledge of English (company language), German (highly desirable)

Salary

The minimum salary is 3,400 EUR gross per month (on a 38.5-hour basis). The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience.
