Could you be the full-time Quality Technician (f/m/d) in Vienna we're looking for?

Your Future Role

From Vienna to the world: our Viennese site is a global competence center for trams and light rail vehicles. 800 colleagues develop and manufacture the Flexity(tm) tram for worldwide customers from Austria to Australia. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You'll report to WRBA Bianca, Site Supply Chain Director and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

We'll look for you to:

  • Manage non-compliant materials: Ensure that all non-compliant materials are identified and handled according to quality control standards
  • Data Processing: Use internal systems to accurately report and resolve defects
  • Logistics Coordination: Execute block posting, initiate replacement deliveries, and create purchase requisitions for repair materials or replacements
  • Monitor Repairs: Oversee repair activities, participate in root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures
  • Inventory Management: Monitor blocked stock and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction

  • German language proficiency is mandatory, English being a significant advantage
  • Familiarity with SAP software
  • Team player with a knack for finding quick solutions, reliable, and proactive
  • Technical understanding, ability to read drawings, and knowledge of general quality standards
