Octapharma specializes in the development of highly pure pharmaceuticals made of human blood plasma. As part of a family-owned enterprise, Octapharma in Vienna is not only the largest production site, but also a successful research location of the Octapharma Group. Since our company continues to grow, we are now hiring for our team on a temopary basis (for 16h/week):

Your new challenges which will inspire you:

  • Analysis and support of our LIMS system both in the business functionality as well as data analysis.
  • Analysis and design of new business processes together with the internal SMEs and the software provider.
  • Requirements Engineering (structured gathering, analysis, documentation and management of requirements)
  • Testing of software deliverables and communication with the software provider.
  • System testing of software extensions and communication with the internal developers.
  • Participation in validation activities

Your profile that will convince us:

  • Technical or Bioinformatics/ - technology education (HTL, FH, University) or similar. Students are welcome.
  • Knowledge of business analysis, process improvements and design with management systems (ERP, LIMS)
  • Knowledge of laboratory processes, incoming goods and quality assurance is an advantage
  • Ideally, first knowledge in LIMS applications (Labvantage, iStudyReporter) and in regulated environments (GxP) (f.ex. through an internship)
  • Analytical thinking, solution-oriented and customer focused plus first knowledge of GMP and GAMP
  • Very good verbal, written and presentation skills in English as well as very good level of computer literacy
  • High level of self motivation and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Sound communication and active listening skills

Additional information:

The minimum gross wage according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) for your new job for 16h/week is EUR 1.400,00. We strive to adapt your salary to your range of tasks and to your profile, which is why we are ready to pay wages higher than collectively agreed.
