Quality Manager Magna Europe (m/f/d)

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Quality Manager Magna Europe (m/f/d) based in Graz.

Your Responsibilities

  • Monitoring, providing feedback and assisting Magna Europe divisions with actions plans to improve quality. Audit and assess manufacturing processes, recommend solutions to divisions and group management.
  • Participate and/or lead problem solving activities
  • Support and follow up with divisions under customer escalations
  • Support global/EU management with reporting activities and follow up on underperforming divisions
  • Conduct but not limited to IATF16949 and or VDA6.3 audits for fresh eyes reviews
  • Conduct reverse FMEA work shops
  • Support divisions on use of customer systems
  • Monitor MQS implementation across the groups and conduct certification/calibration audits
  • Lead MQS improvement activities together with the global team
  • Performs other duties as required
  • Develop and maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Mentor quality personal in divisions to improve efficiency
  • Provides ideas for continuous improvement of Magna processes and quality systems
  • Adherence to Magna's Corporate Constitution, Employee Charter, Code of Conduct, etc.

Who we are looking for

  • Minimum 10 years work-related experience in an automotive environment at Leadership level
  • Cross EU/International work experience
  • Certified IATF16949 and VDA6.3 auditor
  • Experience on CSR BMW, VW, Mercedes,…
  • Experience on MAFACT & MQS
  • Experience on Shainin Red X, 6sigma
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Must be proficient in computer use, including Statistical Techniques & methodologies
  • Must possess exceptional communication skills both verbal and written. The ability to win the customer's loyalty is essential
  • Negotiating and explanation skills are required
  • Must have ability to work independently with minor supervision while under pressure of deadlines and provide a high degree of accuracy
  • Must be a team player, highly motivated, experienced in working with a high degree of confidentiality, discretion and integrity in all aspects of the job
  • Must consistently demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and versatility
  • Customer-focused, with ability to interact effectively with all employee levels in a positive cooperative and productive manner
  • Excellence organizational and interpersonal skills along with a strong sense of time management and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to exercise initiative, common sense and maintain effective internal and external working relationships
  • Strong degree of initiative and judgement

Your preferred qualifications

  • Time flexibility and high willingness to travel
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Additional EU languages major plus
  • Technical presentations and time/resource planning
  • Capable of adapting working approach and/or communication style for different customers, Magna divisions, cultures etc.
  • Influencing skills

The minimum annual remuneration package for this position is EUR 65.000,- with corresponding qualification. The actual salary is higher and depends on your education and specific work experience.
