Make Sustainable Global Product Management Real!

We are currently looking for a Global Manager (m/f/d) for Polyolefins - Focus Recyclates and PP compounds directly reporting to the Director of Product Asset Management. In this role, you will own and develop the Polyolefins product strategy for the asset platform. You will lead a team around 10 colleagues, all located in Austria.

You will succeed through:

• leading a high performing team and developing team members along their individual needs and potential
• contributing to the development of the relevant technology strategy and its implementation in line with Borealis Polyolefine vision and the intent to maximize short and long term financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
• defining and managing the market driven global product portfolio based on in-depth understanding in market trends, supplier and customer insights, and competitor intelligence.
• optimizing the product portfolio through managing product introductions/phase-out, product modifications cost optimization, end to end complexity reduction.
• lead and influence cross functional teams to product quality and compliance with internal and external standards and optimizing CO2 footprint with cross functional team work to product quality
• Embrace and lead digital IT transformation in production management and own PO Portal (IT tool for Borealis product portfolio library)

About you

You are the right candidate for this role, if you have University Degree and at least 8 years of work experience in the relevant field (Product Management, Innovation & Technology, Commercial (Sales & Marketing & Application Development). You are a proven leader with the skill to develop and lead a high performing team. You can create and articulate your vision and drive the implementation in collaboration with your stakeholders. You are having strong commercial acumen and customer focus whilst you have good technical understanding of polymer products and manufacturing process.

According to Austrian law, we offer compensation based on the collective labor agreement starting at EUR 127.200 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) plus a yearly bonus, and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background.
