According to the permanently increasing demand for H2 in the green energy industry, Polymer Electrolyte Membrane fuel electrolyzer technology is gaining more and more attention. Advanced machine learning technology should be established on a parameterized CFD modeling and simulation approach to magnify the performance improvement potential based on shape and material parameter optimization. Utilizing existing CFD capabilities and features as well as automatisms from different industrial applications, a parameterized cell segment and later a full cell model should be established to feed known as well as new AI methods.
The successful completion of the thesis is remunerated with a one-time fee of 3.500,00 EUR before tax.
