What's the role?
In this role, you will support our strategic initiatives by enhancing internal production and supplier quality for product and process releases, driving new product development, and leading systematic process improvements. This position involves close collaboration with suppliers, business unit functions, selected customers, as well as headquarters and local production units.

What does the role involve?
In this role, you will support internal and external production quality analysis and improvement actions, translating customer and product requirements into quality management control mechanisms. You will continuously improve the supply quality system and key business processes, assist in supplier auditing, releases, and supplier quality management, and support product development projects and process improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will manage and handle complaints, lead escalations for critical quality issues, and lead problem-solving teams for escalated quality concerns. You will develop testing concepts, procedures, and conduct sample inspections, moderate (FMEAs), create training materials and train employees on quality regulations, conduct internal and external audits for quality assurance, define measurement methods and analytics for new products, perform process analysis using statistical methods (SPC, DOE, ANOVA), and manage inspection, measuring, and testing equipment (IMTE).

What you need is:
- University degree (BSc or MSc) in an engineering discipline, with 3+ years of experience in SQE or related roles, including supplier assessment and selection
- Expertise in international quality and environmental standards, advanced experience as a Senior Supplier Auditor
- Knowledge of legal risks and implications for supplier and customer contracts, with a sound technical understanding of aluminum material
- Experience in the PPAP process
- Fluent in English (B2 level minimum) and advanced German Skills
- Ability to develop testing concepts, procedures, and conduct sample inspections
- Willingness to travel 30-40% within Europe
This job falls under the collective agreement for metal trade employees in employment group IV. The agreement specifies that the minimum gross monthly salary for a full-time position (38.5 hours/week) is
EUR 3.341,50. We value our employees and offer a highly competitive salary package that exceeds the collective agreement salary. You can expect a minimum annual gross salary of EUR 60.000 (All-In; including 13th, 14th, and bonus payments) as a starting point, with room for negotiation based on your individual qualifications and position-relevant professional experience.
