Packaging Development Specialist (f/m/d)
How You"ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- Supporting the implementation of ALDI SOUTH Group's International Packaging targets (recyclability, recycled content, virgin plastic reduction)
- You"ll generate and manage harmonization & optimization projects for product packaging under consideration of sustainability commitments and cost saving targets
- You"ll research innovative solutions, market trends and sustainability regulations to support sustainability commitments and cost saving targets
- Supporting the development of processes in close alignment with involved international and national departments (Buying, Category Management, Supply Chain Management, Corporate Responsibility, Quality Assurance)
- You"ll direct engagement with packaging suppliers and direct suppliers along the packaging value chain to provide technical insight and optimize project management
- Collecting, analysing and improving packaging data and specifications
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- As Packaging Development Specialist, you"ve completed studies with focus on engineering, preferably packaging engineering or material sciences
- You have a relevant working experience and enthusiasm to work on packaging development focusing on plastics
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, with ability to make own decisions and work plan
- Confidency to effectively communicate packaging opportunities to internal and external partners
- You are able to work in a flexible style with managing a portfolio of projects in parallel
- You are proficient in MS Office applications
- You are fluent in the English language

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from EUR 54.300,-*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
